The course offers advanced professional training in management and composition of music applied to images. The course will feature renowned teachers of international fame in the field of film music: Yati Durant (Cologne), Norman Ludwin (Hollywood), Jeff Rona (Hollywood). Students will also be given the opportunity to coordinate with external partners in the study experience on Film Festivals, for which the Conservatory will activate existing agreements with musical institutions and associations. Furthermore, artistic directors, composers, and music critics will be invited to be part of the final exam examining commission. As an advanced specialization course, the programme aims at forming the following highly specialized professionals:
1) Composers for cinema, TV series, the audio-visual industry, and silent film festivals
2) Programmers, orchestrators, and arrangers for music production teams in the film industry and companies specializing in the creation of sound libraries (KONTAKT)
3) Experienced teachers in the field of music applied to images
4) Collaborators in the planning and organisation of the activity of institutions involved in music production
5) Music project coordinators in schools of all levels.
The course offers three types of training internships:
1) Artistic/Compositional
2) Organizational
3) Corporate The programme wishes to offer advanced training that will not only prepare attendees for existing professional prospects, but will also enable them to propose new ones.
ENROLLMENT COSTS
The entrance exam fee comprises € 50.00 to be paid to the Conservatory and € 6.04 to be paid to the “Agenzia delle Entrate” (Italian Revenue Agency), as indicated in the admission application form. The enrolment fee is € 4,000.00 plus statutory contributions (ESU contribution, registration fees). The enrolment fee may be paid in two installments: a first installment of 60% of the total, to be paid upon enrolment; and a second installment of the remaining 40% balance, to be paid by 31st May 2022.
